Blogs That Bless Me, Part Two

Another blog that blesses me is Wellness Writer by Susan.

Just the use of the word 'wellness' blesses me and gives me hope. Susan writes from a proactive point of view. She believes there are lots of things we can do to help depression, and she believes we can achieve wellness.

She writes with honesty as she shares things she has done that have worked, and things she has done that haven't worked.

Her blog is well-written. She is a professional writer and as an aspiring writer myself, I appreciate her well-developed technique.

She does the research, wow does she do the research! I can just imagine her in her room with one single computer and several hundred books. She recommends books from her favourites list.
She shares her personal trials and victories with tact and grace. She creates a sense of community in her blog with the kinds of topics she presents.

This blog challenges me and blesses me at the same time.

How about you? Have you found a blog that challenges you?

Dear Wendy,
What a lovely way to start my day! The reason I began writing my blog was to try and make sense of why I was ill for such a long time.

One of the primary values I came up with was that since I can write, I could share what I'd learned about wellness with others.

When I read a testimonial like yours, it makes me feel like all the pain and suffering had some meaning. Again, thank you!

Susan

Yes, I think we all like to believe that our pain and suffering has some meaning, that it is not a waste. You have made good use of yours.

Looks like we have the same blogging pals. I've followed Susan for a long time and feel the same way you do about her. And she's so disciplined. Wish I could be as regular about my blogging as she is.

Marja,
Well, as I continue along my reviews, let's see if we still have the same ones. As far as the discipline goes, have you ever thought of writing several posts at once (when you are having a good day) and then scheduling them to appear? You would then have regular posts even though you yourself are not a regular kind of gal. Let's face it, with bipolar, it is almost impossible to keep to a routine.
